You can also log into your eRank account and check out the top all time sellers and the top sellers from yesterday here. In eRank you are also able to filter the top sellers by category, which can be really helpful when you have some idea of what type of product you want to sell.
How to Decide What to Make
Now you know how to find the Etsy best sellers every month, but how do you decide what to actually make on Etsy?
This might surprise you, but the best sellers on Etsy shouldn’t be the top factor in deciding what you should make on Etsy. Here’s why. Let’s say you decide to make planner stickers and sell them on Etsy because there are some very popular shops that are doing well in that niche. But you don’t actually use planner stickers and you don’t really like to make them.
Guess what? Your shop won’t be as successful with that product as you want it to be because you don’t understand (or maybe even like) your audience.
So one of the very first things to ask yourself when you are trying to decide what to sell on Etsy isn’t what is popular, it’s what do you enjoying making and who do you like to make it for.
Selling a product that you love, enjoy making, and feel excited about will create way more success than picking something just because it seems popular with Etsy buyers.
