Need an Etsy traffic booster? As an Etsy seller, you know that getting traffic to your shop is crucial for growing your business. But with so many other sellers out there, how can you stand out and attract more visitors? In this guide, we’ll share some little-known tips and tricks to boost your Etsy traffic and increase your sales.

Study the Search Analytics Page.

The search analytics page in your dashboard marketing tab is an underutilized source of data about what is working for your Etsy shop. To use this feature effectively, you’ll want to study what searches you’re getting seen for but don’t have full product lines for yet. Need to learn more about product lines? Use the Etsy Explore feature.

Etsy Explore is a TikTok-like feature inside of the new Etsy seller app. Post a video of your products, your making process, or behind the scenes in your business. Etsy also suggest themed hashtags occasionally for these videos so keep your eye out.

Experiment with 24 hour flash sales.

A short sale on Etsy can drive traffic from buyers who are using the sale filters when searching and push conversions due to the short nature of your sale. This isn’t something you want to use everyday in order to ensure you maintain your brand integrity, but can be a great traffic boost on occasion.

Collaborate with other Etsy sellers.

Collaborating with other Etsy sellers can be a great way to increase traffic to your shop. Consider a joint social media promotion to get in front of each other’s audiences. You’ll want to focus on working with sellers who create complimentary, but not competitive products.

Etsy Traffic Booster: What not to do.

It can be tempting to try anything and everything to get some visits to your Etsy shop when traffic is low, but there are some things you want to avoid. First, make sure to comply with Etsy’s terms and conditions by not spamming potential customers. You can’t send messages to Etsy users who favorite one of your listings, for example.

You’ll also want to avoid renewing listings in an attempt to get a boost of traffic. While this used to work to increase traffic, in the last few years, the Etsy algorithm has put a larger emphasis on relevancy compared to recency. So renewing listings no longer gives you the traffic boost that it used to.
