If you’re an Etsy seller looking to increase your shop’s visibility, Instagram can be a powerful tool. By sharing your Etsy shop link on Instagram, you can reach a wider audience and potentially attract new customers. In this article, we’ll walk you through three ways to share your Etsy shop link on Instagram.
In your bio.
One of the easiest ways to share your Etsy shop link on Instagram is by adding it to your bio. Your bio is the first thing people see when they visit your profile, so it’s a great place to promote your shop. To add your Etsy shop link to your bio, go to your profile and click “Edit Profile.” In the “Website” field, paste your Etsy shop link and click “Done.” Now, when people visit your profile, they can easily click on your shop link and check out your products.
You can also use a Link in Bio tool like LinkTree or Milkshake.
Your Instagram stories.
Instagram Stories are another great way to share your Etsy shop link and promote your products. You can add a link by using the “link” button in your stories. Instagram has a great guide for how to do this here. Remember to provide some value in your stories as well. Your audience wants to get to know you, see behind the scenes, and learn more about your products. They don’t want to be spammed with a million links and boring product photos all day.
In the DM.
Another way to share your Etsy shop link on Instagram is through direct messages (DMs). I recommend using the poll feature on Instagram stories to ask your audience if they want the link to sign up for your email list or to a new product drop. Then you can DM followers who vote “Yes!” on your poll.
