In part one, I talked all about my first 3 years on Etsy and how learning Etsy SEO changed my life. (Seriously.)
Part two, though….part two is where the real magic happens. (As if making 30k on Etsy isn’t magic enough).
After making more than $30,000 in 2017, I really realized that my goals could actually be much higher. I had never even dared to dream about going full time in my Etsy shop until 2018. I’m sure you’ve been there (or are there right now). Where you don’t dare let yourself dream too big. My mind never registered that I could make a living wage on Etsy until then. I had my doctorate in physical therapy. I had a kid and needed a stable job…blah blah blah.
So I started treating Etsy more like a business that year and less like a hobby. I got my finances in order. I started paying myself every single week. (and ooohhh that was fun!) I started working with my first business coach one on one.
And all of those steps layered and layered on top of each other to set me up with a real business that I could earn a living from.
Now it hasn’t all been roses and sunshine since then. I hit my first six figure year in 2019 after getting laid off from my job, but have you ever heard the phrase “more money, more problems”? (Where my 90’s kids at? 😂)
Time management. Inventory management. People management.
It’s not an easy road no matter what stage you’re at.
The good news is that because other people have achieved for success, that means your goals are possible too. And you’re here…which means you’ll have support along the way.
