I’ve heard it before…
“I just want to know what I’m missing.”
“I don’t know what to do to make it work.”
“What’s the secret?”
And I’m here to tell you, Etsy seller, that the secret is you.
The Framework
Getting sales on Etsy is easy. You set your goals. Get your products listed. Market on social media. Measure your performance. And learn how to be more efficient and effective with every task. That’s the process that every single successful Etsy seller follows. It’s going to look different for every seller. Some people throw a lot of money into social media advertising and some focus on free organic marketing. Some have one product line. Some have 10.
But every single seller needs those 5 things to be successful.
So what is the difference between shops that succeed and shops that don’t?
It’s you.
The Reasons
Every shop is different because every person is different. Below are the two things about you that make the difference.
Your Attitude
The single most important thing in whether you succeed on Etsy or not is your attitude. I’ve seen it dozens of time. I give the same info to different sellers and watch one take off while the other doesn’t.
Your thoughts about yourself, your products, and your business are the base of your success. If you don’t believe you can succeed then you won’t. If you don’t believe that people want your products, then they won’t.
If you believe your success is inevitable, then it will be. Because you’ll continue to take action until it happens. You’ll try and try again. You’ll keep testing, learning, and working until you make it.
Your Actions
Let’s go back to my two sellers. Same info. Same coaching. The sellers who take off after learning what to do, took the information and actually applied it. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? That’s because it is.
The sellers who don’t take off, spent the time doing what they always do and looking for the “magic” piece of info that will just hand them thousands of dollars.
But the real magic of Etsy is that the magic thing doesn’t exist. And that’s a good thing!
That means you can learn what to do, follow the formula, and succeed.
YOU. Not a theoretical person. You and your shop can succeed.
Yes, it’s hard work. But to be in the top 1% of sellers, go full time, or make six figures, you need to do what 99% of the other sellers aren’t doing. And I can tell you that the bottom 99% is looking for the magic solution that doesn’t exist. The top 1% is putting their heads down and getting to work.
